Happy Cosmonautics Day, my friends! (video)

On April 12, 1961, our compatriot Yuri Alekseevich Gagarin became the first person in the world to make a space flight!

The feat of the first of the first impressed millions of Soviet boys and girls to repeat the achievement of our Hero. As a child, I dreamed of being a traveler, but then I did not even suspect that I would explore the expanses of space..

I managed to see our beautiful Earth from the porthole of the International Space Station, and I am glad that today I can share my impressions with you, friends!

This year we are celebrating an anniversary: the 90th anniversary of Yuri Gagarin’s birth. This is an excellent reason to once again emphasize the importance of the development of science and education, especially engineering and technical disciplines.

Gagarin’s flight was prepared by the best world–class design specialists. And to this day, it is our country that plays a key role in the development of cosmonautics! It is important to maintain this leadership, because the space industry is a driver of the development of a wide range of technologies

I wish each of you to go towards your dream, no matter what. May your life be full of impressions – bright as the starry sky, and every day brings new discoveries and achievements, like space flights!

Happy holidays, friends! Happy Cosmonautics Day! Just go ahead! To new achievements! Hurray!
