Broadcast of the launch of the automatic station “Luna-25” (video)

On August 11, at 02:10 Moscow time, the Luna-25 interplanetary station flew from the Vostochny cosmodrome to the Earth’s natural satellite.

This is the first such device in the history of modern Russia for almost half a century. His task is to confirm the presence of water at the South Pole of the Moon and take the liquid for analysis. The results of the study can launch a new round of human colonization of the satellite.

The spacecraft’s flight to the moon will take about 12 days.
