Cupid flows through the territory of Russia and the border of Russia with China.

Amur is distinguished by a diversity of ichthyofauna.

~ 111-140 species and subspecies of fish belonging to the five faunal ichthyocomplexes live here and only 36 of them are of commercial importance.

Along with typical species, representatives of the “Chinese” and “Indian” complexes are found in Amur.

It is believed that it is not Zeya that is a tributary of the Amur, but vice versa. Just from space it is clearly seen that Zeya at the confluence of rivers is wider and more full-flowing of the Amur. In addition, geologically, it is the Zeya Valley that is a continuation of the Amur Valley, viewed from south to north.

Nevertheless, the most remote source from the mouth can be reached in the traditional way, through the Amur, Argun and beyond.
